What the record documents

1911 newspaper material identifies W. J. Whiteman in Haworth-area commercial activity. One issue lists him as first vice president and director of the Bank of Haworth and reports a waterworks franchise granted to W. T. Wilcoxin and W. J. Whiteman. Another advertisement identifies W. J. Whiteman as proprietor of the Murray Improved Gin.
